Why there's no cookie banner

Because we don't use any cookie that would need one. TaskNB loads no analytics tools, no advertising pixels and no third-party trackers. Nothing you do here is tracked for advertising.

What we actually store

• Session cookies — set only after you sign in, to keep you signed in. Deleting them signs you out.
• NEXT_LOCALE — remembers whether you're reading the site in English or French.
• Theme (kept in your browser, not in a cookie) — remembers whether you chose light, dark, or your system setting. That value never leaves your device.

Providers

If you subscribe, payment happens on a page hosted by Stripe, which sets its own cookies for security and fraud prevention. If you sign in with Google, Google sets its own.

Turning them off

Your browser can block or clear any of this. Session cookies are what signing in depends on, so blocking them makes the service unusable once you have an account — though public pages, open tasks included, carry on working.
